The duties of the Civil Division are varied and many. The mountain of legal documents can be overwhelming. TAC 10’s Civil program automates civil process service in a streamlined environment to help eliminate redundancy, reduce errors, and save time. Currently migrating to Microsoft .NET platform, Civil is the latest in technology and offers unsurpassed flexibility to suit your business processes.

• Functionality
Our Civil program features the ability to store data required by the courts such as identifying case numbers, dates, type of process, costs, payments, etc. A wide variety of information on all parties is linked to the Master Name and Master Business Indexes. It also has the capability to efficiently produce a variety of civil documents such as the Process Server’s Worksheet, a Return of Service and a Billing Statement. In addition, Civil has the capacity to handle judgment collection orders and related costs. TAC 10’s Civil can calculate interest, generate garnishment, sale and other related forms. Users may configure the software to meet specific requirements.

• Bookkeeping
Our Civil contains bookkeeping capability, which allows the user to set fees with multipliers and create fee groups. It can be integrated with QuickBooks. The user decides when disbursements and deposits are transferred to QuickBooks.

• Searches and Reports
A robust search capability is included in TAC 10’s Civil, which includes a large number of sortable fields for case numbers, court numbers, all parties involved, type of process and date received with a range. All these queries can be linked to the Master Name and Business Indexes. A variety of accounting and workflow reports are included in the program, with the ability to set criteria.

Dozens of user preferences allow the system to be adjusted to fit the needs of the agency, such as user-defined picklists, document form configuration, bookkeeping flexibility and security levels.
